Prevent Sweating & Body Odor By Identifying The Cause.

Why might your body odor from your excessive sweating be strong some days and not other days? Where does body odor really come from? Learn the facts today.

Since it is a known fact that everybody sweats, the question is why some people smell of body odor and others do not.

First off, how much a person sweats depends on how many sweat glands they have. How many sweat glands are determined when you were born and it is anywhere between two to four million of them. A person will sweat more with the more sweat glands they have. It is embarrassing enough when you sweat but what do you do when there is an odor from sweating.

If excessive sweating is a problem aside from the smell there may be some solutions to get rid of the unwanted scent. First, you need to find the source of where it is coming from. Once you have found the source and treat it you may eliminate body odor and cure excessive sweating just by finding that source.

Sweat or perspiration is a function our body goes through to keep it cool. Sweat itself does not have an odor however, but there are reasons why there may be an odor from sweating.

When your body does not have enough oxygen, bacteria called anaerobic bacteria can grow. Our body’s metabolism gives off an odor while it goes to work, getting rid of the waste. If there are any imbalances in metabolism, the odors will be stronger. Possible antibiotics to treat the bacteria are used to which will help cure excessive sweating.

Toxin in the body can also cause an unwanted smell. Toxins surround us in our environment, in our homes, in the air, and in our food. They build up in the body and when the liver and the intestines are clogged, odors start to seep through the body. To help cure excessive sweating in this case, a person can try detoxification. This is the cleansing of the liver, colon and kidneys. This may help your situation.

Another factor for body odor is what a person eats. Foods with a large amount of choline can cause a smell that is not good. These foods can include:

* Eggs * Fish * Liver

Other foods and drinks that can cause body odor consist of:

* Garlic * Onion * Spicy foods * Alcohol * Fried and baked goods

Some people’s bodies are not able to metabolize these foods, which will cause the odor. To find out if food is the cause of body odor try to stop eating these foods. See if the odor lessens and this will probably cure excessive sweating also.

Sweat glands are also a common factor of body odor when sweating. The bacterium attacks the substance the body produces that include protein, carbohydrates, and lipids, in turn that causes odor. When there is a change in the sex hormones, odor can occur usually this occurs during puberty.

To cure excessive sweating and body odor, you need to locate the source of the sweating. Many natural solutions can be taken to find the source in which you can cure. Excessive sweating can be a battle but once you find the source, you can win that battle.
